Sometimes our veterans spent long hours fixing military equipment while fighting for our country. St. Louis Metro could use some of those veterans to work at the garages to be there to fix the buses, Call-a-
Ride vehicles, and MetroLink trains. One of the main causes for farebox malfunctions is dirt and suet getting inside causing the readers and other parts inside to not work like they should. An easy fix would be to take the farebox apart and to blow the dirt out of all of the mechanical parts, and to thoroughly wash the glass on both sides so that the driver can see the dollars roll when they enter the box. Sometimes the seatbelts on the Call-a-Ride vehicles don't want to extend properly. Metro needs the mechanics so that way Call-a-Ride can have someone to fix them so that way the seatbelts will extend properly when someone is trying to buckle up.
