▶️TO PROTECT YOU AND YOUR DEVICES◀️

(1) Do not respond to spammer's post.

(2) Do not "kudo" the post.

(3) Do not send them AARP PRIVATE MESSAGES.

(4) Do not email, call or text them.

(5) REPORT SPAM. Click on "triangle" at bottom of post. A window will pop up. Type spam. Click "Notify Moderator". This will send your report to an AARP Moderator to delete spam.

We have a spammer who is posing as a Job Hunter. The post is titled I NEED A JOB. Someone has already "tagged and reported" -

I reported the spammer too

I have been posting different warnings to the community all year.... as soon as I see something suspicions

for example this:

Thanks everyone for reporting this.

Don't repost the spammers spam, report spam using the report function, and use this thread to discuss job spams on the community.

With your cooperation we might be able to stop this persistent spammer.

Hi @Underbat I just reported a new spammer  to mods...I see its already deleted....

...but also the pictures with contact info they leave are still visible even after their post is deleted....often they just reuse the same picture...so they don't always get deleted as well...until someone ...like I do...clicks on the 'report' button...but we don't get to explain why we are reporting it like I can do in PMs or the main messages.

Also Ive never had any other mod PM me...so I appreciate when you PM me occasionally....so thanks for that!🙂

Hi Nicole... yes... also I mentioned about the spam pictures with contact info they leave are still visible even after their post is deleted...until someone clicks on the report button.
