Scam on Tickets

I ordered tickets from an organization called Ticket Central, not realizing it is a ticket resale site. It was for a show in Philadelphia. The total of the tickets is $278.00, and they charged me $1018.00. When I realized it I called and they said nothing could or would be done. The woman acknowledged she is not in the US, and they get tickets in bulk from various sellers, which she said she could not give me the name of. Anyone else go throught this? Is it legal? Is there any recourse? Thanks
