HOTEL CALIFORNIA EAGLES, I LOVE THE GUITAR BATTLE BETWEEN DON FELDER AND JOE WALSH. THE LYRICS ARE KIND OF MYSTIFYING TOO. AND THE HARMONIES, EAGLES HAVE ALWAYS DONE THAT WELL
.
PROUD MARY. TINA TURNER THE LIVE VERSION IS FANTASTIC, I LOVE THE VIDEO, SHE STILL ROCKS HARD EVEN INTO HER SEVENTIES!
IMAGINE. JOHN LENNON THIS SONG IS SO SO IDEALISTIC , SO MUCH ABOUT PEACE AND SHARING. ACTUALLY KIND OF HYPOCRITICAL CONSIDERING THE LIFESTYLE HE LIVED. STILL LOVE THE SONG THOUGH.
FOREVER KENNY LOGGINS. DON'T KNOW WHY REALLY SONG IS JUST VERY PASSIONATE.
THAT'S IT FOR NOW

๐ฅThis happened I think about 2 years ago @sweetjulieblueeyes52 . Apparently she had refused to take High Blood Pressure Medicine. She was doing her own home stuff. Kidneys shut down on her. Her husband gave her one of his. Now to hope he stays healthy.๐ฅ

First of all, I really enjoy reading everyone's posts! ๐บ
I have to start off with these two favorites from the greatest band ever:
Let It Be and In My Life by The Beatles. I was a teen during the 60's, so I was into everything about The Beatles. I had different favorites as they released new albums, but looking back, these two are the stand outs. I've played Let It Be more times than I can count, especially this past year. It's a song of comfort and also a song of joy. In My Life is a beautifully written song about reflecting on the past, and John was only 25 years old at the time! It's a nice "memories" song. So that's one by Paul and one by John for my top two Lennon & McCartney songs.
Oh, and I have many more!

It's the fall of 1967. I am a freshman in college in northwest PA. My long time girlfriend is attending Juilliard School of Music in New York City. The distance apart and our changing way of lives became too much and we decided to end our relationship. I traveled to NYC to say goodbye. As we lay in bed crying on the last day we would ever see each other, Never My Love by the Association is playing. It is one of the saddest and most regrettable days of my life.
Our favorite song while dating was Oh How Happy by the Shades of Blue.

Wow this could be a BIG list for me but for
today these are my two favs from my two
fav groups:
All you need is love, Fab 4๏ธโฃ
Gypsy, The Mac
These two songs embody what music is all
about for me, they both make me happy
when I hear them and brighten my day.
I always turn them up LOUD as can be
while I sing and dance along ๐ผ๐

Lol, at my age I no longer have favorites after the 1980's ๐๐คฃ I will start off with my girl Tina Turner's song <What's Love Got to Do with it>. Yes, back in the ages while dealing with a broken heart, I would put this song on and sing with Tina. To this day I am crazy about this song!!!
