Stressors/Pressures of Everyday Life

As Iโ€™m coming to two years of the worst times of my life, both personally and professionally, Iโ€™ve noticed there are a lot of rock songs out there that deal with the Stressors/Pressures of everyday life. I thought it would be a great topic to explore. Songs with pressure in the title are obvious, but Iโ€™m hoping this will bring out other, more subtle songs that address these issues. I will start with one of my all time favorites in this area-

Rolling Stones were having a couple of stressed-out days when they sang about having a 19th Nervous Breakdown and asking to send Dead Flowers.

[EDITED]  Apologies to @MaVolta who already mentioned having a 19th Nervous Breakdown. (Kudos. ๐Ÿ˜‰)  I should have doublechecked before jumping in willy-nilly, but It's My Party and I'll cry if I want to (as Lesley Gore bemoaned).

@MsStretch  - Hey, no problem. Great song by the Stones, worth an extra mention!

Question by the Moody Blues

"Why do we never get an answer

When we're knocking at the door

With a thousand million questions

About hate and death and war?

'Cause when we stop and look around us

There is nothing that we need

In a world of persecution

That is burning in its greed"......

Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne

"Crazy, but that's how it goes

Millions of people living as foes

Maybe it's not too late

To learn how to love and forget how to hate"......

Patches: Dickey Lee (rich boy's parents forbid him from seeing poor girl; he doesn't show up to meet her; she thinks he no longer loves her; she jumps into the dirty old river and drowns; rich boy finds out and will join her that night. Sad story of stress leading to teenage suicides).

Tragedy by The Bee Gees. Totally different song then the Thomas Wayne tune mentioned earlier.
"In a world of tears I slowly drown".......

"When you lose control and you got no soul"........

"With no one to love you, you're goin' nowhere".....

Love causes a ton of stress, in my book second only to money or the lack of it..........

Go to sleep by Roxette. RIP Marie Fredriksson, half of the duo, who died Monday after a 17 year battle with brain cancer. Performed until 2016. An amazing person with an amazing voice.

"And life's a tough principal who won't reward the losers, your name is on the tea cup, There's nothing I can do".......
