...Speaking of Joe Walsh

Life's Been Good - Joe Walsh

Irrepressible dry wit...never fails to prompt a smile.

Funk#49, James Gang

Loved the James Gang. My favorite song of theirs is Tend My Garden. That being said, there probably isn't anything of theirs that I don't like.

Rock n Roll Is Bitchin' - Reel Big Fish

Good old fashioned Rock Anthem from a younger generation.

Girls just wanna have fun.  I ask them to play it at the dentist.

Jack In The Green - Jethro Tull

The lyrics say "It's no fun being Jack-in- the-Green"

But the music is so lively and Jack's job, done well, inspires such gratitude.

I love most of Jethro Tull's music. One of my favorites is Thick as a Brick, especially the section that starts with "I see you shuffle in the courtroom, with your rings upon your fingers." The flute and acoustic guitar section right before those lyrics start brings me great joy and takes me back to the time when that album first came out.

Yes     Jethro Tull has been one of my favorites since I first heard their Bouree in 72  Have you heard The Zealot Gene? It captures the spirit of Tull I think

The Mighty Quinn (Quinn the Eskimo) - (Bob Dylan) My favorite cover was by 1910 Fruitgum Company.

Covered so many times that a cover version by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band was still being released in 2022.  It has even been covered by international artists.

...Anyway...Never fails to lift my spirits!

Squeeze Box - The Who

I realize the line

"Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night"

Reeks of innuendo, but it always conjures visions of Mama playing Zydeco and Daddy dancing his heart out all night.

Bad Is Bad - Huey Lewis and The News

Let The Good Times Roll - Buckwheat Zydeco

For the sake of clarification:  There are multiple songs with this title.  This one is a Zydeco cover of the 1946 classic written by Louis Jordan.  I also seem to remember a version of this song being on the soundtrack of The Blues Brothers movie.
