Air -- Talking Heads

"Air...Air
It can break your heart
So remember when the weather gets rough
(You'll say to yourself)
What is happening to my skin?
Where is that protection that I needed?
Air can hurt you too
Air can hurt you too ..."

Does anyone remember the group who performed the instrumental "Tornado" in the early 1960's?

@oldegranddad - Are you thinking of the group? There was an English band called The Tornados who recorded the instrumental hit, Telstar, in 1962.

I remember Telstar, but I thought sure there was an instrumental, predominately trumpet, titled Tornado. Maybe another participant may remember. I could be mistaken on this.

Telstar was instrumental. There were no trumpets. The main (if not only) instrument sounded like an organ. At the end it sounded like it was taking off into the stars.

THANKS FOR INSIDE INFO. I'D ALWAYS THOUGHT IT'S AN ORGAN. REGARDLESS,IT'S A STUNNING, AHEAD- OF- ITS- TIME SONG.
