SONG TITLES and SONGS about DISTANCES & TRAVEL

I'll try to get this topic started with these song titles about DISTANCES/TRAVELING   ...........

*Travelin' Man     Ricky Nelson   which made it to #1 in 1961

*I Ran (So Far Away)     Flock of Seagulls

For a different approach, songs about  DISTANCES/TRAVELING...........

*Walk Away Renee'     The Left Banke

*Ferry Across The Mersey     Gerry & The Pacemakers

Uh, I am sorry if I led off with songs which you may have wanted to post here. How about this....wait a while and then post it....or post it now ! You see, repetition is OKAY Man Wink

Please understand, there's lots of freedom and latitude with this topic. Be creative....let's have plenty of laughs and plenty of wows like:  "Wow, I wish I had thought of that one!!" "Wow, that's a good one!!

@l483260l  The theme from "2001" is the beginning of "Also Spracht Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss. There is much more to that piece. Just like Rossini's "William Tell Overture" is better known in some circles for the portion that is the theme for "The Lone Ranger".

YOU'RE RIGHT. THE COOL THING IS WE LEARN THIS CLASSICAL MUSIC THROUGH MOVIES( DISNEY'S "FANTASIA" WAS AMONG THE FIRST)& CARTOONS. MY VERY FAVORITE IS BUGS BUNNY& ELMER FUDD("KILL DA WABBIT":) IN A PARODY OF WAGNER'S "GOTTERDAMMERUNG" I THINK THIS IS IT: PRICELESS!

@I4832601 - Chuck Jones considered "What's Opera, Doc?" to be his masterpiece. It ran over budget, but Termite Terrace kept that under wraps by, ahem, "reallocating" (stealing) budget resources from other projects. I think it should have won an Oscar. But it was never even submitted. Asked why, later, a spokesman for Warner Brothers admitted they simply never considered submitting it. Oops.
