SONG TITLES and SONGS about DISTANCES & TRAVEL

I'll try to get this topic started with these song titles about DISTANCES/TRAVELING   ...........

*Travelin' Man     Ricky Nelson   which made it to #1 in 1961

*I Ran (So Far Away)     Flock of Seagulls

For a different approach, songs about  DISTANCES/TRAVELING...........

*Walk Away Renee'     The Left Banke

*Ferry Across The Mersey     Gerry & The Pacemakers

Uh, I am sorry if I led off with songs which you may have wanted to post here. How about this....wait a while and then post it....or post it now ! You see, repetition is OKAY Man Wink

Please understand, there's lots of freedom and latitude with this topic. Be creative....let's have plenty of laughs and plenty of wows like:  "Wow, I wish I had thought of that one!!" "Wow, that's a good one!!

@1968Hoya46  Fun thing involving Jonathan King. He produced Genesis' first album, "From Genesis to Revelation". It was called that because there was also an American band called Genesis that was making some noise. The American Genesis broke up in 1974. Its founder went on to form another group. She would have used Genesis again, but by that time the lads from England were rather well known. So she chose another name, and her band is still playing even though she, sadly, has passed away. Her band: Vixen.

Got to give a shout-out on "My Mammy" to Jolie - Al Jolson. And yes, I am aware that his performances would not be done today as he did them. His version came out in 1918.

How about the song many now consider Scotland's unofficial national anthem: "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the Proclaimers.
