SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

Social Butterfly

FROM  -  ONE LAST Kiss

TO  -  The LAST ONE  to know     by Tommy James   (no Shondells)

This is off his album "My Head, My Bed and My Red Guitar"

This was recorded in Nashville many years ago.  He did not make

it on the country scene, although he had a few hits off it..

This title has been usde by many performers, with totally different

lyrics and music........

Social Butterfly

FROM  -  WHEN will I be loved

TO  -  And WHEN I die-    BY   Blood, Sweat and Tears.

Most of all the vocals were sung by David Clayton Thomas

But the Singer who started out with BST was  Al Kooper (not Alice)

That was in 1967- Al left in 1968 and David took it from there....

FROM: And When I Die

TO: Yesterday When I Was Young -- Glen Campbell

OK, so maybe his recording of this song wasn't as well known as Andy William's or Dusty Springfield's or even Telly Savalas', but being part of the Wrecking Crew (& a highly respected musician), Glen Campbell probably played guitar on most of those other versions, so I'm just giving him the credit he deserves!

PS ... Just wanted to add that this song was written by Charles Aznavour, the celebrated French Armenian songwriter who is considered "the Frank Sinatra of France"!
