SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION
Okay
This is meant to be a long running topic . The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.
You start with a song title. Let's use Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith
You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi) then post the new title as your post. The next person follows. See easy
So lets give it a try. My title is Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

@dragons3 wrote:gatorgorilla -- I apologize for not using The Sounds of Silence, but it wasn't showing on my screen when I posted. We must have written our posts at about the same time. Sorry.
dragons3, Thanks for the message but there is no need to apologize to me. I am not the "moderator" of Song Titles - we are all in this together! Over the past months, I have noticed that when the thread begins to get "sloppy" it diminishes the enjoyment of those participating, and some people do get upset/hurt/confused/etc, and understandably, if their legitimate post is over-looked. We all goof up, for one reason or another, once in awhile. But the game keeps going - let's see what songs we manage to "dredge up" from our memory banks in 2015! Happy New Year!
edit: for those who are unaware and have not looked at the original post (post #1) of this topic, it was begun/introduced by nyadrn on 7/26/2009, and has had a long & successful run, which is now continuing on into 2015...

Just a reminder to everyone, especially newcomers: ANY word can be chosen from a song title, as the word to repeat in your new title. That includes words as simple as "a", "the", "of", "my", etc.
Looking back over the last few pages, I noticed "Heart of Stone" was correctly followed by "Little Bit of Lovin", "Shape of My Heart" was correctly followed by "Sunshine on My Shoulder", "The Shape I'm In" was correctly followed by "The Sounds of Silence".
I think those legitimate posts were viewed as "not following the rules" and were thus skipped over. So, watch for the little words that might be repeats, please...
(note: those three skipped-over posts were all made by rb5884, I believe, so please let this serve as acknowledgment of your posts as being acceptable, rb5884...)
