SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic .  The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title.  Let's use  Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi)  then post the new title as your post.  The next person follows.   See easy

So lets give it a try.    My title is   Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

Diane

cs76522381:  I just wanted to acknowledge that I noticed your post of "This Boy" was inadvertently overlooked and did not receive a response.  Hopefully that will not occur again, in future, with your song posts.  I am glad you decided to join us at Song Titles, and hope you will continue to post.

rb5884:  Now that you better understand how to play Song Titles Word Association (which is terrific!), please be careful that you do not overlook someone's previously posted song title, when you are making your post.   Thanks!

Okay, I am new at this, so please help me understand:
I had posted "Midnight Special".
Then 2Y2BOLD cites "Love On A Two Way Street" and adds
"Love, Love, Love Makes You Do Foolish Things".
How did we go from Midnight Special to Love On a Two Way Street?
This is not a complaint. I simply do not understand how this works . My thanks in advance for any enlightenment you might provide! : )

After posting this, I found that PattyDiane had offered The Midnight Oil in response to Midnight Special, explaining that she was picking up the "lost thread" - my thanks, PattyDiane!

I think the person that posted Love on a Two Way Street might have been replying to
Stay in My Corner, but even though streets and corners are related, to keep the thread going the song title in the response has to contain one of the words from the previous song title in the thread. So that's why the next person went back to Stay in My Corner and replied with Standing on the Corner.

Hope that makes sense! Keep playing, OK?
