My current favorite: Floor Jansen, the singer of Nightwish.

Her voice is absolutely amazing, ranging from pop, rock, operatic. Her talents were finally recognized in her own country (The Netherlands) just this last year.

One of my all-time faves:

They glammed her up in the '80s, and she was gorgeous. She went along with it back then, you gotta do what you gotta do, I guess.  But I knew that anyone with a back-up group named the Blackhearts had some real potential.

So glad she's still here for us - the stage persona, the way she seems to love it when she's performing, the great look.  The fact that she looks half her age?
