They are a bit closer to the fringe than alot of bands.  They've been around, off-and-on and in a few different iterations since the 1980's.

...Kinda like Mindless Self Indulgence I can't say what it is about their music that prompts me to keep tabs on them, but I do.  Not like a Fan or Groupie, just take a listen from time to time.
