Echo in the Canyon  -  Documentary film, 2018 w / Jakob Dylan

A look back at the origins of the California sound, featuring many artists interviewed by JD. If you liked the Laurel Canyon documentary on Epix, this is a nice complement, as it is a much different format. The film also has clips of Dylan and other contemporary artists recreating many of the 60's songs in a way that's fresh and modern. The soundtrack is here on YT . . .

It's nice to see that younger generations have taken an interest in these songs some 50 years later. When I was their age, I doubt I could have named one 50 year old song!
