Of course I love all the classic Christmas songs. Many singers and groups do them well. It is nice to find newer songs to carry on the thoughts and feelings. I have found many, but this one is dedicated to all of us with those that can't be with us for the holidays.

 He wrote this for his mother after losing his maternal grandfather to lung cancer. He says it is for anyone to honor those who can't be with us.

The bluesy stuff that Elvis did.- Blue Christmas, Merry Christmas Baby, It's Christmas Time Pretty Baby,a couple of others. Not the stereotypical Christmas songs but thats what I like about them. I absolutely love the blues so its the best of 2 worlds for me.

Christmas in Dixie- Alabama. Not my favorite time of year but there's something about the arrangement,the blending of their voices,and of course the message that gets me in the holiday mood. Also Christmas Carol by Skip Ewing. Such a heart tugging song.
