Grateful I have "accomplished" most of what I had planned once COVID seems to have CALMED down! 🙄

One NEVER knows as VARIANTS seem to keep popping up.

Now that I FINALLY made it back to Florida THIS year (May 2023), I want to EXPLORE it.

Left in 2015 and NEVER did this while WORKING.

Hey @NicoleRetired2020FL,

Retired when I was 57. Had worked 32 years for the same organization and they afforded me the ability to retire under a defined benefit retirement plan at 30 years or more with full benefits.

They also paid for my insurance until I became Medicare age.

Both of those benefits are rare in today's world.

In fact, if I worked now where I used to work, those benefits are no longer available to newer employees.

COVID pushed me into retiring at age 62 in 2020.

Figured since my employer didnot care about my "safety" - best to move on.

Same boat... was planning on stepping away in 2024, but now will be working a few years past that.
