REWARDS TECHNICAL ERROR THREAD

Starting a thread discussion UNDER REWARDS/EARN ACTIVITIES/ REDEMPTIONS for all members who are still experiencing odd technical difficulties. This is shame because I do enjoy the videos and games and chance at earning points and wins. I feel AARP is gaslighting us into thinking it is our fault ie. we are not clearing our cookies, using wrong browsers, etc. To date I have seen some members with the same issues: being directed to the wrong videos, the same wildfire video, not earning points, cannot access log in, etc. Let's try and post here along with any updates. Maybe there is strength in numbers. Also, if AARP sees the extent of the errors they will expedite a resolution.

 I continue to have issues with the AARP rewards website.  For the past few days, I watch 

"Denise & Katie Austin's 6-Minute Toning Workout" and even though I have not watched it that day, after it plays the message reads that no points are rewarded because I've already viewed it.  I have not already viewed it.  The link to the video is:

https://www.aarp.org/videos/health/fitness/5763903369001/

Maybe someone in IT can fix this problem, because it is not awarding points after the video is viewed.  Thanks for creating this space to report problems.

I’ve found that if the link goes to a different video it will not give points for watching. If the point emblem (300 for members) shows a check mark you will not get points as it’s stating completion. Also, if the progress bar on the video is red ( this changed to blue recently) regardless of the emblem showing points you will not get points.

The same problem as above happens with the "Guided Meditation: The Beach" video on AARP rewards.  I watch it then get the message that no points are awarded because I've already viewed it, but I haven't viewed it before.  I have cleared cookies, browser, history, etc and still this problem persists.  The link for this video is: https://www.aarp.org/videos/caregiving/5128521188001/

Yes, have been getting the same messages from AARP and it's very frustrating.  They have also mentioned the problem is on my end, however, I am not having any other problems with any other sites.  Very disappointed in the lack of  attention to the matter and finding a resolution.
