This is the second time in the last 6 months that I have redeemed points for a gift card and received nothing in return! This site has more issues with its point earning and redemption system than any other website I have ever used! It's so frustrating because the last time I had a problem, it took approximately a MONTH before the problem was finally resolved. Every time I contacted AARP customer service I would be told that my case would be "escalated" (whatever that means), and I was also told that I would be contacted regarding my case... no surprise that NO ONE ever contacted me within the quoted time frame. Normally, when you purchase a gift card with points, the gift card link is Emailed within minutes, not weeks! So if you purchase a GIFT CARD with POINTS... EXPECT to have to CONTACT AARP CUSTOMER SERVICE to complete the purchase.

Likewise, I redeemed points for a Bed and Bath gift card early this morning on 2/1/25. As of 9:27 pm, I have not received it. Points were deducted. Usually, gift cards purchased with points come quickly. I will call on Monday and hope best. I really hope it doesnโt take a month to resolve.
