Why is aarp partnering with such small and slow ma and pa shops?

I redeemed $25 with my points from petsupplies.com

I bought a small toy ball from their website on july 2nd, the item still has not shipped. I called them and they said it won't ship out until late July!

3-4 weeks with this company vs 1-3 days with Amazon! Or I can just go to petco or petsmart!
