I noticed this morning that they have posted new sweepstakes in the middle of the month, for really good cards like PF Changs, Home Depot, Williams Sonoma, etc....... Gee we used to be able to redeem points for good cards like this, at a $10 or higher level. If the amount of the cards for each sweepstakes (10 winners for each), were to be instead divided into 100 $10 cards for MEMBERS to get for points, wouldn't we all be happier?? But since these are sweepstakes non-members and professional sweepstakes enterers can enter these and win them (due to law) - wonder how many of these sweepstakes are won by MEMBERS. Excuse me for the rant, but I don't want to burn my points on something I have a miniscule chance of winning......

I actually got an email from AARP 7-12-23 Wednesday - 'Congrats on winning our $100 Walmart eGift Card Sweepstakes!' ✔️ 😃 - this from last month's - mid June sweeps. I do remember entering Walmart Sweeps last month; even though there is no 'official rules' listed for it - but I did find a post by Kelly...

....confirming/ verifying this Sweeps existed.
So yes - paid Members can win the mid -month Sweeps; and they are valid Sweeps.
😎
The most boring month ever. The extra credit rewards were not very interesting and they have added very few new gift cards this month. It's a sign of the times I think. I have only been doing AARP rewards for about 3 years but I remember winning a $100 instant win when I first started. I have so many points and nothing to redeem them for!!
This is the second month they have done this. They also don't post the Official Rules for these new sweepstakes. Didn't do it last month and probably won't this month. Since this happening more often, I am concerned that there is opportunity for fraud. When running a sweepstakes it is a requirement to post these or the company can be fined.
