Hello, @AARPTeri
How many working days are in an AARP week please? The standard answer from customer service is 10 business days for any escalation which I thought meant two weeks. But maybe a week has only 1 or 2 working days in the AARP world and I need to recalibrate my expectations for any result. I would appreciate a prompt answer. Thank you,

Thank you, @AARPConsumerCare Christy C.
Unexplicably I cannot answer you with a private message as the place where I would answer does not permit me to write. This has never happened before. Very strange!
However please read what I wrote beginning of the month on this thread and it will give you all the info you need to help me.
Last Monday night, already the new month in my time zone, I ordered the for points only Walgreens $5 gift card, 22000 points. Not receiving the gift card, I called AARP Rewards yesterday and found out that no email with my gift card had been generated but 22000 points had been deducted twice from my account. The very very nice person in customer service could only escalate; now wait time is 10 business days; still 44000 points short; no gift card. In the past I have found that escalation did not produce any positive results and that after many weeks of wait and so much frustration; I hope that this time something good happens and I get both 22000 points back and the gift card that I desired in a more timely fashion.
Make sure you check your transaction history in redemptions for this new AARP problem.
I am looking forward to have this problem solved, to get the Walgreens gift card, and to have the second 22,000 points given back. Thank you for your help.

I managed to send you a blank message. However:
As soon as I write something pertinent including what's written below, the **bleep** thing says over and over again (even after trying to resend as asked)
Correct the highlighted errors and try again.Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and send the message when you are satisfied.
But does not highlight anything. And there was no HTML in the message body!
AARP must be working very hard at creating unwieldy, cumbersome, user unfriendly systems. I guess that leaves the different teams no time to serve their customers.
Furthermore I find it demeaning and insulting that the system changes a normal, reasonable, proper, polite word with a bleep. Astonishing!
However I hope you can help and I thank you in advance.

Thank you for trying.
Please mention to your IT team how difficult the messaging system seems to be right now. That would be a worthwhile endeavour for you to take on.
I am sure within 3 to 6 months someone might possibly, perhaps, eventually, conceivably, surprisingly of course, look into the problem I have and will then take care of it; not within 10 business days from my first contact of course, as that ship has long ago sailed!
