Update and Corrections

- Sweepstakes Prize: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: Winner will receive one (1) $15,000 check

Instant Win Game Prizes:

TWO (2) $500 PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) $500 prepaid card.
TWO (2) $100 PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) $100 prepaid card. 
FOUR (4) $50 PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) $50 prepaid card. 
TEN (10) $10 PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) $10 prepaid card. 
ONE THOUSAND (1,000) $5 PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) $5 prepaid card

🤔   If you read the rest of this thread there seems to be some issues - when I first started this thread/ post - the true initial AARP Sweeps web pages did indicate there was an ability 'to play the Instant Win games at least once per day' while the Official Rules contradicted this 🤔

     By the next day AARP It staff  finally corrected/ updated to: "only one Sweeps Play and only one Instant Win Play" per whole promotion period. If you attempt to enter again you will see -

 "We love your enthusiasm! But it looks like you already entered the sweepstakes. The Grand Prize winner will receive an email on or around September 3, 2024."

So there is only One Entry to play; no need to play/ enter again.

Well, Allen, after you posted Friday night, I was able to enter Friday.  Also, I saw the FAQ that you copied to your post.  However, I couldn't enter on Saturday.  The official rules might actually be correct.😮  What a let down 😐 if that is the case!  Trying every day for a $500 "gift card" or debit card would be much more fun than that one single entry.

Official Rules state:

"Limit: You may receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry during the Promotion  Period; you may play the Instant Win Game one (1) time during the Promotion Period."

Yeah, I was a little confused by the discrepancy in the Rules/ the wording. By tomorrow when I try to enter again we'll see how it will play out....🤔

Update 4-29 Saturday: tried to enter for second time and got this:

       "We love your enthusiasm! But it looks like you already entered the sweepstakes. The Grand Prize winner will receive an email on or around September 3, 2024."

       It seems there is only one entry - for One Sweepstakes and only One Instant Win play.

Oh well  🙄

I believe @OneDayMatisyahu was correct....

On the FAQ page:

 Q: How many times can I enter the promotion?

 A:   You can earn a sweepstakes entry once per day for visiting the site. You can play for a chance to win an instant prize once per day.

Q:How many prizes could I win?

 A:   You could win one (1) instant win prize and one (1) sweepstakes prize per household.

Of course, it’s up to AARP to clarify any discrepancies....hopefully they’ll comment here... at least on the next BUSINESS day!

Thanks a LOT! How did you find out about this?...I don’t recall seeing anything AT ALL from AARP...also this started 4 days ago...."The Promotion begins on June 24, 2024"...

& you’re the 1st one to mention this, as far as I can tell.....

Also....anyone else who sees your post ....& gets to enter & play.... should thank you too....

I received  AARP Web Rewards Newsletter - June 28 today at about 12:52 pm est (this contains the Promo code for "Storytelling" for 100 points - so if you saw that, then it is in this e-mail).

   Yeah, I know the sweeps started June 24, but just got the info today  - the same email that others had gotten today; the only difference "we the few - take the time and concern to post to the forum."

Thanks for letting me know where you found out about this...I prob missed it...as I mostly scroll thru their web letters quickly & see nothing of interest... or of any helpful use...just pablum >>> bland or simplistic or that lack any real intellectual substance or value!<<<< ....other than the 100 points codes, of course...LOL..usually just copy/paste points code & then delete email.

Also thanks for the nice comments!! Like you...& a few others such as @andrewtoo , Ginger, Kelly etc....we post things to help everyone....& we will get thousands of views...& maybe 1 or 2 replies/kudos...& a rare thank you ....the rest...well...it’s disappointing,...but have to accept it & move on to the next things that helps bunches of peeps! HA!
