SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION - We seem to still be having fun - So Play on!

SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic . The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title. Let's use Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi) then post the new title as your post. The next person follows. See easy

So lets give it a try. My title is: Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

your reply could be:

from Love in an Elevator to Love is all you need--Beatles

My hope is that our new member  duke  could help us get this started.

Please pick up on any word in the last posted Title!

Dave, Are you ready to switch the topic heading from Holiday Songs now?  I have obviously posted a "non-holiday" song - hope that's okay with you and the other posters here...  Pam Smiley Happy

♫ Scottish Music - Auld Lang Syne ♫

So sit back and enjoy the great scenery!

Yes it is a repeat but it is sung by the Scotsmen that originated this

greatest of New Years Songs! Sungs by Dougie MacLean - "Auld Lang Syne" is a Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788 and set to the tune of a traditional folk song. It is well known by most of us!

At the stroke of midnight on January 1, revelers around the world wearing ridiculous hats will join arms with their loved ones and try to sing "Auld Lang Syne." We say "try" because, despite the fact that the Scottish song was composed more than 200 years ago, no one really seems to know the words. (Which makes sense, as most of us only attempt to sing it only once a year, in intoxicated states where remembering our own names is enough of a challenge.)

Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind

Should old acquaintance be forgot, in days of auld lang syne

For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne

We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet, in days of auld lang syne.

You are right.  I didn't post it because, let's face it, there's not a lot that can follow.  But since we aren't following for the moment, here's another.

This is one that I found listed when I did a search for New Year's Song.  I'd never thought about it in that context but I love the song.
