SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION - We seem to still be having fun - So Play on!

SONG TITLE WORD ASSOCIATION

Okay

This is meant to be a long running topic . The rules are simple and there are a zillion songs out there, so lets see what we can do with this.

You start with a song title. Let's use Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

You look at that title, pick out one word from it and find a new song title with that word in it,( example, In & Out of Love - Bon Jovi) then post the new title as your post. The next person follows. See easy

So lets give it a try. My title is: Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith.

your reply could be:

from Love in an Elevator to Love is all you need--Beatles

My hope is that our new member  duke  could help us get this started.

Please pick up on any word in the last posted Title!

This one has probably already been listed but I heard it this morning and I'd forgotten how beautiful it was and how much I used to like Robert Goulet.

We will return to having to use a word from the last song posted on Dec 26th. If you can still do that with a Christmas song that would be great.

Fred Waring & The Pennsylvanians - 'Twas The Night Before Christmas

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0h3gkl7QeE

I hope that this is not a repeat. I just had to posts this for tonight!

With vocals by Gordon Goodman, Jack Best and the Pennsylvanians, "A Visit from St. Nicholas", also known as "The Night Before Christmas" and "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" from its first line, is a poem first published anonymously in 1823 and generally attributed to Clement Clarke Moore, although the claim has also been made that it was written by Henry Livingston, Jr. The poem, which has been called "arguably the best-known verses ever written by an American", is largely responsible for the conception of Santa Claus from the mid-nineteenth century to today, including his physical appearance, the night of his visit, his mode of transportation, the number and names of his reindeer, as well as the tradition that he brings toys to children. Prior to the poem, American ideas about St. Nicholas and other Christmastide visitors varied considerably. The poem has influenced ideas about St. Nicholas and Santa Claus beyond the United States to the rest of the English-speaking world and beyond.

To children of all ages, Christmas means Santa Claus!

From now till after Christmas day you can post any Christmas tune you want. We will return to having to use a word from the last song posted on Dec 26th. If you can still do that with a Christmas song that would be great.

Greensleeves (What Child Is This) - Official Christmas Music Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0tn-VdgU_k

from the album Christmas. One of my favorite songs ever!

Greensleeves was arranged by the Gothard Sisters for guitar, violins and bodhran for the album Christmas.

The video was filmed near Mt. Rainier in Washington state, as well as the sanctuary of Tolt Congregational United Church of Christ in Carnation, Washington.

The video was filmed and edited by Kent Harrison. Costumes by Willow Gothard.

I"d post a song title but I'm not sure what to post anymore. I thought we were suppose to pick a word from the previous song that was posted and use that in our song title, but it doesn't seem like you all are doing that anymore, somebody fill me in please.

Hi Margaret,a couple of weeks ago,Dave suggested we post xmas songs, that's what we've been doing. After xmas,we'll probably go back to the regular routine. Sue Posted by margaret23509
