Renewal options - be careful!

I really liked the travel cubes and was trying to see which URL led to that renewal gift when I realized, and should have known, nothing is free...

With the Insulated Food Traveler + 2000 points using /rewewift16 it's $15

The latest paper mailer offers my $1 discount from $20 to $19

And  /renew4 offers 2000 points for $12.

Not sure I want to pay $3 for the IFT.  How about a renewal screen that displays all the offers and let us choose?

I’ve never renewed online.  Since I get the many “Please renew now”  offers through snail mail, a free offer always comes this way at some point.  Usually closer to renewal date I see those freebie offers.

It’s nothing to write home about, but a few items I’ve gotten are still being used.  Insulated travel bag constantly for groceries to and from store with ice packs.  Travel cubes occasionally.  The offers for a buck or two off my membership doesn’t faze me, or knock my socks off, really.  In all honesty, I renew regardless, throw in a gift for free, all the better. But I don’t think I’d ever do it online for points.  Just me, though.

Your suggestion is a good one.  👍 Showing ALL offers would be optimal.

I have renewed online before. No big deal, however, since my card is first expiring in 2028, why do it this early?

It is not for the 40 bucks in savings, but if AARP is that hard up for money, would it be better to raise the price a little? Everyone else is doing so; why not them? At least the money is going to something useful.

Nope, disagree.  Not a fan of them raising prices, just because people are pissed at early renewal notices.
