My AARP membership card says expiration date is 7/31/26, but on 7/30/26 I was no longer a member.

 My AARP membership card says my membership expires on 7/31/26 - so on 7/30/26 I should still be awarded rewards points as a member.  But even though games and videos and quizzes showed the correct amount of points for a member before I played, after I played I was awarded points as a non-member.  For example, a quiz that awards 450 points for a member showed that many points before I played - but I received 300 points.  For a video that awards 300 points for a member, I received 200 points. I have been debating whether to renew my membership, given all the glitches experienced with the rewards program on a regular basis.  This seems to be another.  The rewards program was my primary reason for being an AARP member, but I'm less and less inclined to renew given all the ongoing problems.  Isn't the expiration supposed to start at 11:59pm on the expiration date on your membership card?

same thing happened to me.  I chose to not pay for membership but continue, you can still earn points and redeem however at the lesser rate.  That is if they don't decide you are not following the rules and ban you from redeeming.  I think if you attempted to redeem a member award on 7/31 it would be invalid.  Even when you pay they might find a way to keep the money and run.
