Cannot Access AARP NOW app - member outside USA

Hi

I I have purchased an AARP 1 year membership, but when I go to the app, as I am not in the USA it will not allow me to download the app, (I am in Australia).

All I want to do is to add my card to my Apple Wallet, but as I can’t access the app, and I cannot find anywhere on the website to enable me to do this without the app, is their any way for me just to add the card to my Apple Wallet?

No - I have the same problem and it's February. The AARP Now app is just not there for us outside the physical USA. I cannot update my membership card in the Apple wallet.

Hi Flyingfemme! AARP membership is used in the US. When you come to the US, it can then be used for the places listed at AARP.org. The AARP NOW will not work until back in the US. -Sue J

You may not have seen this message:

“Reward purchases will be temporarily unavailable for year-end maintenance starting from 5 PM EST on December 29th until January 2nd. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support.”

So as it seems, you may be able to straighten this out on Tuesday....that is also the 1st business day for most companies, after the New Year’s holidays, as well as for U.S. Govt. offices opening back up.
