Has anyone gone through underwriting to change Medigap Insurer?

I am thinking of changing current UHC Medigap Plan G to another Insurer company for Plan D or G.  Wondering what is involved - is it only questions about health.  Thank you.

I am not sure about things today.  My husband and I went through underwriting back in 2021.  All we did was answer the questions.  After finishing the agent on the phone said we should here whether we are accepted in a few days.  But before we could even hang up he said that we were both accepted.

Just be prepared to answer all the questions.  Have dates and doctors you saw and what the diagnosis was.  I understand the process and questions can be different with each insurer.  I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, and prediabetes.  And I was still accepted.  Most of my problems stem from the hypothyroidism that I have had for the last 33 years.
