AARP Eye Center
I got one out of three needed numbers. All hope is pinned on tomorrow.
We are all set to fly to Sydney toward the end of April, then sail back to Hawaii . Air ticket, hotel in Sydney, cruise fare, shore excursions, all paid for. Today we got an email from the cruise lines saying the following: .."effective Monday, March 16th, boarding will be denied to any person age 70 or older, at the time of embarkation, unless the guest provides written verification from a qualified treating physician that certifies the person has no severe, chronic medical condition and is fit to travel." And ..."The following guests will need to undergo extra screenings at the cruise terminal: Any person who has traveled to, from, or through Japan or Thailand in the 15 days prior to embarkation......"
Both of us are over 70 and our airline ticket has a 3 hour stop over in Japan.
What would any of you do if you were us?
