Love is stronger than death

You left me here and I'm hurting deep inside.

I don't know what to do, with the love I feel inside!

But all I know is…love is stronger than death.

Now that you are gone, I'm trying to carry on…

But it's so hard to do when my mind is fixed on you.

How can I push past my pain and the anguish deep inside,

When I know you are no longer here, and all I can feel inside is fear.

But love...Love is stronger than death.

You were a pillar to me...a rock I could stand on...

a high mountain in the desert, and a refuge in the storm.

But now I finally understand, love, yes love…

Love is stronger than death

I will always cherish the memories and the love we shared together…
those special moments we had…when we laughed and cried together.
Those were special times…because it was then that we felt
   linked and tied together.

 Love is stronger than: separations, pain, disappointments, anguish, and the many days and nights of questioning and wondering why…

because Love will always last, even when we need to cry…

When love is based on a solid foundation of God’s Love, His love will see us through, because God’s Love is stronger than death.

The King of the universe has got us on His mind. He is concerned about what concerns us: our tears, fears, and disappointments--He sees them.  He will carry us in every storm in the palm of His hand. You are on His mind…

God cares and understands. Endless Love—Love that is stronger than death!

Our daughter was killed at age 20 leaving a 19 mo. old baby boy.

I learned to say:

Live for today NO ONE is Guaranteed a Tomorrow. 

I also bought a sign which reads,  "You never know how strong you are, until  being strong is the only choice you have."

I still do not feel strong, I feel empty inside with grief, but I go on for my family.  So I guess my love for them was stronger than death as that is what I asked the police to do, was to shoot me and bring my daughter back.

I sit here with tears running down my face, after you shared your story with me regarding your daughter on AARP. I remember when I wrote this…Death was all around us and as I sat at my computer I asked God to help our world that has so much pain and I just begin to write (Love is stronger than death). I wanted God to help somebody take courage in the storms of life and death, if they were searching for Peace in a storm. Please know that I am praying for you and your family! Dorcas Chandler
