Help with old Santa song

My mother used to sing this song, and I can’t figure out its origin.  Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Santa Claus, Santa Claus

Hurry on your way because

I’ve been good like I shpuld

Even to my baby brother

Googling has turned up nothing.

Thanks for any leads!

Hi Jennifer, I can't believe I just found this post! I've been asking about this song for years! I remember it from when I was a kid. It was on a children's Christmas songs album. Probably one of those K-Tel type records if you remember those.

And the next lines in the song after the ones you wrote are:

Ring-a-ling, as you bring

Lots of gifts to give!

Giddy up, giddy up, giddy up, WHOA!

Here's where we live.

I was seriously love to find this song. If you ever find it, please be sure to post it here! Have a Merry Christmas.

Hi Pamela—

Thank you for dispelling my fear that I and my siblings had a collective hallucination!  I’m gonna keep digging.  Those extra lyrics are a big help.  I’ll let you know if I find out anything more.  Merry Christmas!

Hi, @JenniferP348574.

The Shepherd's Children Chorus - Baby Brother (Santa Claus, Dear Santa Claus)

Another version:

The Quinto Sisters - Baby Brother

Sort of scoured the web to find your song. This song seemed like this was the closest I could find. If this is not the one, I hope someone can find it for you.

Cheers. K

Thank you so much for digging this up.  It is not the one I’m thinking of, although it really similar in melody.  I appreciate it!
