If you redeem a printed e-gift card in the store or a restaurant take a few minutes before hand in the white space on the page write the barcode ID number
(5893298754768972) in the credit card format
( 5893 2987 5476 8972 ) along with the PIN number in larger easy to read text.
This will help the clerks / cashiers enter the ID & PIN numbers if they are not using a hand scanner much faster thus reducing time in the checkout line.

That’s a good idea. Thanks. I used my Burger King one a few weeks ago and the manager was upset that she had to enter all those numbers. She told me to call the place where I got the gift card and tell them they need a bar code. I had to remind her that it’s on her end since it was a Burger King gift card. I suggested that she talk to Burger King corporate. Also, the cards do mention about them having to enter the codes for redemptions.
