How do power ups work in Hex Puzzle Adventure?

As you play Hex Puzzle Adventure, you’ll be introduced to three power ups. You’ll start with two uses of each, and can buy more with the coins you receive for beating levels. These power ups can be the difference between success and failure! Here’s what they are:

  • Hammer – This power up allows you to smash a stack, clearing the full space.
  • Instant Refresh – This power up allows you to get rid of the stacks you have, offering you three new ones.
  • The Hand – This power up lets you move one stack to an empty space.

Don’t overuse these power ups, as they don’t come by often – but always keep them in your back pocket!

I can't get lower up to work.  I have over 400 coins and when I try to buy a power up all it does is bounce up and down and doesn't do anything. What am I doing wrong?

You can't buy the Hammer or the Pointing Finger.  The coins only work on getting a new Refresh Stack of 3.  To get additional Hammer or Pointing Finger, you have to either win a 5 game challenge against other players, or fill the treasure chest with the appropriate number of coins.  If you win the challenge, you will get 1 Hammer, 1 Pointing Finger, and 25 coins.  When you have earned a Hammer or Pointing Finger, the number of how many you have earned will be displayed next to that item.  Each time you use the Stack refresh, it will cost you 35 coins.
