๐ Hi from Indiana! How is everyone doing?
๐Hi everyone! I'm Jamie, and I live in Indiana with my amazing hubby, our 2 beautiful daughters, and our 5 ornery kitty cat fur-babies. I've been pretty active on AARP, primarily AARP Rewards for several years now, but somehow I guess I never realized this community was here!
I am extremely passionate about all things mental health awareness, caring, compassion, advocacy and kindness.
I've had some health issues that have kept me on the couch for a few years now, so I've tried to make the most of that time and have done A LOT OF RESEARCH on a lot of different things...especially ways to earn extra money, easily, from home by participating in different rewards programs (like AARP Rewards), couponing, etc. It keeps me busy, and I have learned SO MUCH!! My hubby loves the way I'm able to save our family so much money and bring in a little extra on the side as well! ๐ It makes me feel like I'm doing something important, like I am helping provide for our family, instead of just sitting on the couch all day. ๐ I love sharing tips, tricks and things I've learned! ๐
I hope you all have a happy day!
Jamie ๐ฅฐ

Hello from New York! We have a lot in common. We also have 2 beautiful daughters. I also do surveys and other programs to earn rewards and extra money. We only have 3 crazy, spunky, and especially ornery kitty cats. I hope and wish everyone a very great and wonderful day! It is nice getting to know everyone.

You are so very welcome, Nicole. Our cats are Bristol, a Lynx Point, Stewart,a tiger pattern Manx, and his sister, Nova, who is a gray and white Manx. I used to have a cat named Mister back in 2012. He was white with black spots. My Mom used to say that he looked like a big rabbit. Sadly, he died from Leukemia. I change my avatars on other sites for the holidays and seasons. I noticed the Virginia and had communicated with you over the weekend about internet services. I didn't realize that it was you until I recognized your name. Thank you for being so nice and welcoming. I greatly appreciate your help and support.

Well dear Michelle @MichelleC103656 , you gave out "nice" vibes dear friend = you attracted that back. You are welcome! ๐ Yes, Virginia is where I am. Need to return to Florida where my daughter is but dragging my feet. Luv my mountains, fall/autumn (strange there are 2 names) & spring. Lol, hate winter (ice on my hill) & summer (hot flashes). Take care my friend, Nicole ๐

Hey Nicole, I have a sister who lives in Tallahassee, Florida. She doesn't like to visit me in New York as much, because it always seems to get cold when she does. It is strange to have one season have 2 names. Fall makes sense, because the leaves fall. I also don't like the ice in Winter. My hot flashes are worse in the Winter. Summer hasn't been too bad. It is nice having someone new and so friendly to chat about everything. You take care, too. Good Night!

Hey Michelle @MichelleC103656 , IF you ever get "unwanted" Private Messages (PMs) from anyone on this site, hit the IGNORE button. That will BLOCK them. Lol, been awhile for me. ๐๐คฃ Just logged in and there is one from a Paul. Anyway, blocked. I did have to REPORT a few = nasty. There is a REPORT button beside the IGNORE button. Now back to chatting. My daughter is in Melbourne. When I was there, St. Cloud. We both had moved to Virginia. She went back, hated Virginia. She will be here on the 26th for my birthday. She has NEVER met Mister ๐. Will be interesting how they deal with each other = feel they each OWN me = hopefully will share me. ๐ Sweet dreams my friend ๐ด, Nicole ๐

Good morning, Nicole! Thanks for the info about the messages. I didn't know about them. That is so ironic that your daughter is from Melbourne. I was doing some research weeks ago wondering if it was named after the one in Australia. It was. One of my brothers lived in Virginia years ago when he was in the Navy. He lived in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and then Chesapeake. Happy Birthday a little early. My birthday is this month, too,on the 28th. I hope that your daughter and Mister will get along and like each other. Bye for now. I hope that it will ne a great day.

Wow Michelle @MichelleC103656 , we are BOTH Libres!!! And a Happy "early" Birthday to you. ๐ And thanks for yours. I am in Cave Spring. Lol, and thanks for the data on Melbourne. I didnot know. So many places worldwide share the same name. Any plans for your special day? Me, nope. The last time my daughter was here for my birthday was in 2019. We drove through a zoo they have nearby. Not really a zoo I guess. But you get to drive through & see the animals. Lol, had a few blocking cars and wanting food. I have always wanted to see penguins. They had some. That part you walked through. This time we have to visit the Funeral Home as the Monday is the only day we can. She comes in late that Friday, leaving Monday. Anyway, I want to set up things ahead of time just in case I donot make it back to Florida. Her dad is deceased & she saw what a "surprise" death can do = died of COVID. Well have a totally AWESOME day my friend. Today is my stay home day. Back out on the road tomorrow. Lol, Mister is SO HAPPY, he gets to snuggle ALL DAY. Nicole ๐

Thank you for the early birthday greeting, Nicole. It is much appreciated. I don't usually do much for my birthday either. We might have a special dinner and some cake. It is usually just a last minute thing. That is a good idea to set up your final plans. We have to get that done. The kids wouldn't know where to start. My Mom and I had a difficult time planning my Dad's. It was unexpected. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I am sorry about your husband. Covid took so many people. I am staying in today, too. I have lots of laundry to do. I hope that you and Mister have a fantastic day together! Talk to you again. ๐๐ฑ

Michelle @MichelleC103656 thanks! She wanted to know what I wanted to do. Told her nothing. I just want to sit and talk I told her. At age 67, I NO longer waste what time I have with folks I care about. Saturday & Sunday [when she surfaces] we will go out to breakfast, lunch & dinner. I am in a Studio Apt, so she is staying in a nice hotel near the airport. She is flying in. Lol, in 2019 she stayed with me with a sleeping bag on floor. She said NOT this time. I also have Neighbors From Hell above me. She does NOT want to deal with them. Anyway, she wanted me stay in her hotel room but my boy needs to be fed. He was left behind when his humans moved WITHOUT him. ๐ค A real rebel and refuses to stay inside all the time. So I water & feed him indoors. ENJOY it when he "decides" to spend the day with me. Lol, nights - he is out prowling. ๐๐คฃ Then back at my door for breakfast at 3am. IF I am up, I let him in. See you later, Nicole. ๐

Thank you, Nicole. They are also very spoiled. They have a fenced in patio and lots of chairs and boxes for napping. I make them come in by 10:30 or 11pm at the latest, because it gets cold at night now. We live on the outskirts of town and have woods and open fields, so we get a lot of wild animals. We have had baby bears, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, and possums. It is not safe for the cats to be out late at night. That is all for now. Always wonderful hearing from you,Nicole. Bye for now. ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฉโ๐ซ

You are welcome Michelle @MichelleC103656 !!! Yes, I use to worry about Mister ๐ and have NO idea how old he is, siblings or IF he has always been an Indoor/Outdoor Cat. Last year May 2024 is when I moved him to my porch. Lol, use to try to keep him INSIDE & he would SIT at my door GLARING at me until I let him out. Take care my friend. Luv chatting with you. He is now in my lap DEMANDING I stop writing this post. Yes, attention seeker. Nicole ๐
