Which Herbal Tincture Brand Is Reliable? Need Suggestions

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying herbal tinctures for stress and sleep, but I’m not seeing much effect and I’m starting to think it might be the brand I’m using. There are so many options, but I’m not sure which ones are actually good quality or worth the money.

If anyone has experience with trusted brands or noticed better results with certain ones, I’d really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

I can't recommend any specific brands, Mary. Whichever brand you are researching, I suggest asking the manufacturer these things:

  • Where is the manufacturer based? US or overseas? I suggest not working with overseas manufacturers - don't know what their quality standards are or what exactly you are ingesting.
  • Ask for a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) - verifies via 3rd party lab testing the accuracy of the ingredients, heavy metal, and microbial/fungal testing
  • Ask if they are cGMP facilities (most US-based manufacturers are) - double bonus if they are Consumer Lab, USP, or NSF-certified.
  • Most importantly, I would say running it by your pharmacist or doctor to check for interactions with your medical problems and/or prescription meds before taking the tincture.

Hope this helps - best of luck to you!
