Remember, the bridges freeze first!

The weird freezing weather has already cost eight Texans their lives and put dozens more in the hospital from car crashes. You may have seen video of car after car slamming into a pileup in Dallas. At temperatures at or just above freezing the surfaces of bridges and overpasses can still develop ice, making stopping impossible, especially on the downhill side. In Houston, the weatherguessers are saying the insurance claims from the next few days of ice will be on par with those from a hurricane!

It's a good time to stay home.
