I was about 7 yrs. old ; don't recall a lot of details, but my family was quarantined for some time

because we had been in contact with someone who became very ill. My mother was very worried ; there were 4 of us to worry about ! We were lucky. About that time the Salk vaccine became available

and we had the oral vaccine

I hope this virus can be contained in a similar fashion, soon. Impossible to say, but I do think mask wearing will help, and social distancing-if only more people understand this & practice it.
