Seeking Connection Through Grief and Loss Group

I’m reaching out because I’m looking for a supportive grief and loss community. Two years ago, my daughter survived a severe traumatic brain injury after a motorcycle accident. She spent months in a coma and a year in the hospital. She is now home and continuing to improve, and we are grateful for every step forward.

At the same time, life has changed in ways none of us expected. Her personality and abilities are different, and she requires full‑time care. Her husband and children are doing their best, but the emotional impact has been significant for all of us. I live nearby and help as much as I can, and the ongoing nature of her recovery has brought its own kind of grief.

I’m hoping to connect with others who understand long‑term caregiving, complicated loss, and the mix of gratitude and sorrow that comes with situations like this. I would appreciate a place to listen, learn, and share when appropriate.
