I agree 100 percent in the following from this article (copy & paste below โฌ๏ธ). But NOT everyone can AFFORD to travel. Often times a death is UNEXPECTED or we were already "struggling" financially before our loss.
โก๏ธ[*** Grief TRAVEL is a way to process loss. Some people travel to a beautiful place to scatter the ashes of their loved one, or hold a memorial ceremony in a place the deceased person enjoyed visiting. Bringing a MEMORIAL item on a trip is another way to keep loved ones close to us while traveling. Traveling to avoid being home for TRIGGERING dates, such as birthdays, death anniversaries and Motherโs or Fatherโs Day, is common among people in grief.
