Advice

@SpringIsHereVA

Hey sister. I need some advice. I was invited to a bull roast with my neighbors on Saturday the 17th. I decided that I am going to go. I need time to myself and to also get to talk and hangout with others. This will be the first time that I will be going out without any family. I feel like I am taking that first step in acceptance and ready to go forward. I'm not looking for a date or a boyfriend but it would be nice to have a companion to hang out with. If something else develops I'll take it as it goes. I'm just nervous about it because this is a big step in my progress. Do you think that I am doing the right thing? I feel like I am but, I am also worried about what others would think.

Well Kim @KimberlyM389662 , personally, at age 67 - I am happy with myself.

Just decide WHAT you want out of life.

Falling in luv can get "complicated" and as we age, things change.

Hmmm, sounds like you have come to terms with the death of your husband.

Try to be your BEST self.

Kim, you DESERVE some adult company.

Luv,

Nicole  🤗🤗🤗  (Grief Forum)
