Something has changed recently on the games pages. Within the last 2 weeks.
The bold red banner with AARP on the left is making it hard to see both the top and the bottom of a game screen.
I play the games on my laptop, 15 inch screen. I can slowly scroll up and have the banner move to the top of the screen. But then I can't see the top line of the game. As I slowly scroll down, the darn banner comes down again, as well. It takes ages to get the game showing top and bottom. Darn nuisance.
Can anything be done about this banner line, please?!
Hi Freedom2b2, I understand how frustrating that can be not being able to see the game screen. The mega menu displays when you hover your mouse over the navigational links. To close the mega menu look in the top right corner of the menu, next to Close Menu, click the X. You can also move your cursor outside the menu to collapse it. -Tiffanie S.
Tiffanie, I am not referring to the mega menu. I am referring to the red banner. I have attached 2 screen shots, side by side. On the left, I have scrolled down. The red banner drops, and an ad appears at the top. On the right, I have scrolled up. The red banner rises, the ad disappears. But if I had proceeded to open the game, the top of the game is not visible. So I again scrolled down. The red banner drops, the ad reappears, and the game is again cut off, this time at the bottom. It just does not FIT with that darn red banner in the way.
Well you can try this: Use the top button on your keyboard - F11 = this enlarges the main part of your page to Full size.
Press F11 once to enter /// and Press F11 to return.
Some benefits is some of the ads are not displayed and the annoying 'red banner' does not move, the game or puzzle is enlarged to the full size your pc or laptop can handle.
😎 F11 - Make it big - Wham!
I put a little sticker next to my F11 key - makes it easy to find and use the key.
Plus I use a third party 'ad-blocker' software as my normal web use.
I use Chrome on Chromebook with AdBlocker Plus (free); I don't have any issues including "mega-menu", so trying to analyze the issue, need the following identifiers, please:
Operating system (Apple, Google, Microsoft)
Browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge)
Any 3-rd party add-ons (those earn by browsing things)
Identifying these can help identify the issue. Please add your info?
Thank you in advance!
