Notice of changes to account going to old email address

My email address is updated and clearly correct on my account profile. It has been this way for at least 2 years. Almost all of the correspondence from AARP goes to this address. If I make any account changes the notices go to my old email address. I still have it but I'm trying to move away from it. What would be the reason for this and is there anything I can do to get all information going to my current email address?
