NOW THERE MUST BE A GLITCH IN THE FORUM PLATFORM

 I wrote a comment relating to the disappearance of my ALL TIME HIGHEST SCORE in 5ROLL. That score was over 3700 points. It will probably never happen again. 

The comment was that my ALL TIME HIGHEST SCORE of over 3700 points had disappeared and my previous ALL TIME HIGHEST SCORE of 2700+ was there in its place.

ALL TIME HIGHEST SCORES are supposed to stay posted to your name permanently. 

My comment expressed my frustration that a "once in a lifetime" score had disappeared.

NOW MY COMMENT ABOUT THE INCIDENT DISAPPEARED!!!!!!!!

Why?

It was not political.

It wasn't hate speech.

It wasn't bullying.

It wasn't obscene.

And it didn't violate the law.

It just expressed my belief that there is a security glitch on the gaming platform that caused my ALL TIME HIGHEST SCORE to disappear either electronically or by someone's hand.

Has a glitch caused the disappearance of my comment too?

 I sympathize with you.   My all time high was obliterated from TriPeaks Solitaire some time ago.   I scored it the very first week the game came online....3444 if I recall correctly.   They seemed to reset the same and took away my score.  BOO.  It has been years and I haven't ever gotten a screen like that to start a game again.   Whole bottom line was two numbers where I could click away before using the deck.

I could understand if all scores were reset to "0" at some point but my ALL TIME HIGH SCORE just disappeared and my former ALL TIME HIGHEST SCORE is now what shows. So there wasn't a reset, just a removal by persons unknown, @HokiePoq.

It seems that there is a security issue with the gaming platform where outside actors can not only post IMPOSSIBLE scores at random to the Leader Boards but can also delete "other people's" high scores".

There is definitely information that AARP is not making public here.

Do you get anything for high score?  Why all the fuss.  Cheaters in every online game everywhere.  Play the game. Enjoy.  Why try to be high score?  Life is too short to be stressing about video game scores.  You seem so preoccupied with this.  Why.

It seems that you believe games should NEVER be competitive. 

You get SATISFACTION from a high score.

In this particular game, I scored a score that is probably only seen legitimately once a year.

Between the scores being posted from cheaters and what seems my extra high score being DELETED by persons unknown, the reason for playing the game is destroyed.

Enjoyment doesn't come from the play of the game as you seem to believe........it comes from BEATING THE OTHER PLAYERS!!!!!

I try and out do my own score.  If I don’t I don’t.  No biggie.  Obsessing about it in multi color texts and caps is over the top.  All video gaming platforms have cheaters, those who can code.  Find holes. BP must be sky high worrying so much about cheaters
