WHY DOES AARP START SENDING ME MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

MESSAGES IN AUGUST AND MY MEMBERSHIP DOESN'T

@N4CER Our hope is that members are able to renew before experiencing any interruption in their membership, including receipt of AARP The Magazine or the AARP Bulletin. We have found many members prefer to renew far before the actual membership expiration date for that reason. If you ever choose to renew early, you will never lose any time on your membership that you've already paid for. 

We also now offer the Automatic Renewal option. AARP Automatic Renewal eliminates renewal notices in your mailbox and ensures that access to your member benefits is continuous.
