Games are on a loop and can’t be accessed

When I choose games and then word, the screen flickers back and forth like in a loop and nothing happens. It has been doing this for the last 3 days and have been unable to play anything. I am using an IPad, signed off and back on but that didn’t help. Any suggestions?
