Emails concerning Social Security

What's the point of asking whether we want to keep social security or not? Sends an email to whom, exactly?

More to the point, why isn't the AARP doing more to educate their members about the mechanisms that are threatening our social security? How about details on how this administration is cutting medicare and medicaid for millions of US Citizens?

These emails that send emails seem feckless - especially for an organization as large as AARP.
