Video ads on games

AARP knows by now how annoying those video ads are to people trying to relax and play games. But obviously they don't care. It's very distracting and hard to focus on the game when you have an ad jumping out at you.

Java, the ads during games are due to the game provider, which is Arkadium, NOT AARP.

As @nctarheel wrote, use AdBlocker Plus! They recommended to me years ago and works with no issues or problems, so I recommend taking their advise.

All you need to do is add AdBlocker Plus to your browser. Easy to do because I did it and I am as computer illiterate as they come. It is free and once added to your browser, no ads by AARP while gaming ever again, BEFORE, DURING, or AFTER.

I get no ads while I play.  There May be something before it sometimes, but no ads playing while the game is going on.

If you are on a computer @JavaJ240933 , use the pop-up blocker on your browser.  Add an ad blocker extension to it for free as well.  But no ads during game play for me while on the app using a tablet.

I don't play the timed games any more because of those ads.

Hannah, please see @nctarheel post. Their recommendation has worked for me for years!
