Unable to process your redemption request

So, AARP spent 4 days (Nov 15th-19th) renovating their site. And now, 11/21, still "Unable to process your redemption request" and nothing new on the site is worth noting. Tell me, how can items offered for points show "sold out", when, in fact, most of us are getting the "Unable to process your redemption request" banner when we click? AARP's website is the only site that ever gives error messages...or reboot your browsers.
