What is Mathler?
Mathler is a daily puzzle game where you guess a hidden equation that equals a given number.
How do I play?
Use digits (0–9) and operations (+, –, ×, ÷) to form an equation. You have six tries to guess the correct one.
What do the colors mean?
Green = correct and in the right spot. Orange = correct but in the wrong spot. Gray = not in the equation.
Is order of operations important?
Yes. Mathler follows standard math rules: multiplication and division before addition and subtraction.
Can numbers and operators repeat?
Yes. You can use the same digit or operator more than once.
Are parentheses allowed?
Only in Hard mode. Parentheses help structure more complex equations.
What’s the difference between difficulty levels?
Easy mode has simpler equations. Normal is the standard game. Hard includes parentheses. Extreme only shows green tiles—no orange hints.
Can I play past puzzles?
Yes. Use the calendar icon to revisit previous Mathler challenges.
Is Mathler free to play?
Yes. Mathler is completely free.
Can I share my results?
Yes. After solving a puzzle, you can copy and share your results with friends.
